She has performed at venues such as Cambridge Junction and The Six Six Bar, as well as local pubs across Cambridge, building a grassroots connection with her audience.
Originally released in May 2025 as After Sunset, Raine’s fifth album was reimagined and rereleased in July that same year under the title After Sunset (Rewritten). This updated edition featured a refreshed tracklist and improved mixing and mastering, continuing the emotive tones of Malibu Sunset with a more refined musical structure.
Musical influences
Raine draws inspiration from a wide spectrum of artists and genres, with a particular affinity for 90s grunge and indie rock. Her music is shaped by iconic bands like Blur, Nirvana, and Green Day, as well as influential indie acts such as Laney Jones, Jebediah, and Big Heavy Stuff—whose distinct sounds and independent ethos left a lasting imprint on her style. Blending melodic guitar progressions with raw, emotive vocals, her songs carry a sense of familiarity and individuality. Personal experiences and collaborations with fellow artists also play a significant role in shaping her sound. This eclectic mix of influences is especially evident in her third album, Downfall, which nods to the pop-punk energy of Green Day while standing firmly in its own sonic territory.
Discography
"Domesticated" (2022) Raine's debut album, "Domesticated," is an indie-inspired collection of tracks. The album received mostly positive reception, with standout tracks such as "Black and Blue" and "Welcome to hell" gaining particular acclaim. Themes of self-discovery and introspection run throughout the album.

"Dark Charms" (2023) In her second studio album, "Dark Charms," Raine incorporated a grunge style and raw, harsher vocal tones. This album marked a significant evolution in her sound, with tracks like "Bloom" and "December" highlighting her ability to convey intense emotions through music. "Dark Charms" was well-received by listeners.

"Downfall" (2024) Raine's third studio album, "Downfall," saw her refreshing her existing style with faster, heavier sounds inspired by pop-punk bands like Green Day. The album features energetic tracks such as "Loose Change" and "The Comeback".

"Malibu Sunset" (2025) After taking a break, Raine released her fourth album, Malibu Sunset, in 2025. Reflecting heavily on the raw honesty of her debut, this record embraced open, introspective themes with standout tracks like “Burned Out” and “Sobriety.” Musically, it introduced a signature use of clean, clangy guitars soaked in chorus effects—evoking a shimmering beach vibe that would go on to define much of her future sound.

"After Sunset / After Sunset (Rewritten)" (2025) Originally released in May that same year, After Sunset served as a spiritual sequel to Malibu Sunset, continuing its emotional arc while branching into deeper, more refined sonic territory. However, in July 2025, the album was taken down and reborn as After Sunset (Rewritten)—a bold revision featuring improved mixing and mastering and a curated tracklist that replaced several original songs with new additions. This re-release marked a pivotal moment in Raine's artistry, showcasing her dedication to creative control and technical polish.
Personal life
